What Documents is for
Most job seekers keep their files scattered, a resume on the desktop, a cover letter in downloads, an old version somewhere in Google Drive. Documents fixes that by keeping your application files inside Rolvelio, where you actually do the work.
Two libraries:
File rules
Documents is intentionally lean:
- PDF files only
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Up to 3 files per library
That’s not a limitation, it’s a nudge to keep only the versions you’re actively using. A smaller, cleaner library is faster to work from.
What you can do
- upload a new file
- rename a file
- download or open it
- delete it
- mark a resume as your favourite version
What to keep
You don’t need a large archive. For most active searches, this is enough:
Resumes:
- one general version
- one tailored for your current search direction
- one specialist or backup version if you need it
Cover letters:
- one strong reusable base
- one or two versions tailored to current target roles
If you’re constantly swapping files in and out, the fix is usually better naming, not more storage.
Name your files clearly and specifically. “Resume_final_v3.pdf” is not a name. “Resume_product_2026.pdf” is.
